California Man Arrested At Border On Murder Warrant

US Customs officials arrested a California man last weekend as he attempted to re-enter the United States at San Ysidro. Jeffrey Berrouet, 23, was arrested on an outstanding murder warrant from issued San Bernardino County. In addition to the murder warrant, Berrouet was also wanted on a 0 controlled substance warrant from Riverside County and federal warrants for escape, homicide, kidnapping and battery. Berrouet was to be featured on America’s Most Wanted in a segment scheduled to air the day before Berrouet was arrested. The planned segment was cancelled once news of Berrouet’s arrest broke.
