Camarillo Juvenile Arrested On Purse-Snatching Charge

A 13-year-old Camarillo boy was arrested in connection with a purse snatching that happened last week. The juvenile, whose name was not released, allegedly stole a purse from the shoulder of an 80-year-old woman outside a discount store. A Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the boy running away from the scene. The boy threw the purse away, but was arrested after a short foot chase. The victim was not seriously injured in the incident.
