Jessica Hill Safe, But Not Reunited
Fourteen years ago in Walnut Grove California, eight year old Jessica Click-Hill disappeared, her father reported her missing and told authorites that he believed his then wife took their child. Now, at 22 years old Jessica and her mother have been found. Wendy Hill has been arrested and booked but made bail. Jessica is reported as being safe and well, but has not reunited with her father.
Police say that Wendy used several alias’ to keep herself from being found including using her mother’s identity. They say
they have found 5 different names so far that she used during their fourteen years on the run.
Dean Click is hoping that his adult daughter still wants a relationship with him but has not yet been able to contact her, “She’s an adult now, she’s 22 years old. And she has a right to privacy. So, even the Walnut Creek (police) cannot give me her address and phone number” He said on the Early Show Saturday Edition.
Click says he is allowed to write her letters which can be given to her and that he will do so.
“What I would say is to Jessica today is that I have missed her so much and I still love her so much, and it’s so great that we have this opportunity to continue with our lives…” He told the television news anchors.
