Missing Family of Four
A happy family of four simply disappeared from San Diego this week. The last time they were seen was Feb 4th. Joseph and Summer McStay along with their 2 boys Gianni and Joey hadn’t contacted family in awhile so Joseph’s brother Michael went to check on them on Valentines Day. He found that the neighbors had been feeding their dogs because no one had been home in days.
The neighbors and family agree that the family was clean cut, middle class, and happy and that they would never go on a vacation or trip without taking care of their pets and notifying relatives.
The case became even more complex when the white Isuzu Trooper found 70 miles south of the McStayshome and very near the Mexico border turned out to belong to the family.
There is now a website with pictures of the family and pleas from friends and relatives to aide in the case.
No one is sure of the details, perhaps the family went willingly, perhaps they were taken, but no one can imagine a scenerio that doesn’t involve danger and everyone hopes that they return safely and soon.
If you are involved in any case like this and find yourself accused of kiddnapping, you will need an attorneywho is willing to use every legal tactic to get your charges dropped whenever possible.
“My reputation for integrity among prosecutors and judges is extremely important. When we file a motion
to suppress evidence, it is taken seriously. When we argue for a reduced charge based on legal and personal grounds, our arguments will be respected. If your case goes to court for trial, I promise that the judge and jury will clearly understand how serious we are about an acquittal of the charges.” - Robert Helfend
