Santa Clarita Man Arrested In Credit Card Scam
Police in Los Angeles say that they have arrested a man who may have stolen more than $100,000 in merchandise from Costco, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores in the past two years. Police arrested William Hart in Santa Clarita. Upon searching the man’s home, officials found more than 1,000 credit cards, credit-card making equipment, card readers, card, encoders and equipment to transmit credit card information across phone lines. In addition, police also found blank State of California birth certificates, which were fake.
