Simi Valley police arrested a man on DUI charges, after he collided head-on with a Simi Valley police car last week. The suspect, Antonio Riccio, 23 was driving a van registered to Time Warner Communications when the accident occurred. Both the suspect and the officer involved in the crash were treated at a local hospital, and both vehicles sustained minor damage. The incident was turned over to the California Highway Patrol for investigation.

Riccio will face DUI charges with an enhancement for causing injury. He was released on $50,000 bail.
