Los Angeles police arrested a man and woman in connection with the attempted murder of an exotic dancer. The assault left the woman with second and third degree burns over 40% of her body. Nathaniel Petrillo and Rianne Theriault-Odom were arrested Monday and are suspected of dousing Roberta Busby, a single mother from Simi Valley, with a flammable liquid and igniting it outside the Babes M’ Beer bar in the Tarzana area of Los Angeles.

Petrillo and Theriault-Odom were arrested in North Hollywood following a five-day manhunt for then in Southern California. The two suspects, who were frequent patrons of the establishment, were acquainted with the victim. Police did not know the motive for the attack, but said that Busby was inside the bar counting tips when she was called outside and attacked.

Police declined to file charges against Petrillo in connection with the attack, but Theriault-Odom has been charged with attempted murder, torture and mayhem. She is being held on $1 million bail. Busby remains in critical condition at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks.
