UCLA forward Nikola Dragovic was arrested last week on a misdemeanor battery charge. Dragovic is accused of pushing a former girlfriend to the ground in a domestic dispute.

Reportedly, the pair had lived together at one time and Dragovic returned to the apartment they had shared to collect some of his possessions. When he arrived, he discovered that his former girlfriend had thrown his belongings on the porch. An argument ensued, during which Mr. Dragovic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia allegedly assaulted the woman.

Coach Ben Howland was informed of Dragovic’s arrest about 90 minutes before the team played an exhibition game against Biola. Dragovic posted a $20,000 bond and was released about eight hours after his arrest.
